How many people can enjoy Ferris Wheel Dining together?

The Ferris Wheel Dining experience can accommodate 2 people per carriage. 

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

Due to the nature of this event, we are only able to cater for Vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free dietary needs. Please get in touch with our Deck Reservations team on (02) 9033 7670 or by emailing reservations@thedecksydney.com if you have any specific concerns or questions.

What if I have a nut allergy or have other questions about food preparation?

There are peanuts and their derivatives used in the Deck kitchen. We cannot guarantee there are no trace elements in the Ferris Wheel Dining menu as some ingredients, i.e. chocolate, may contain trace elements of nuts.

How are we served our food?

You will be boarded onto your Ferris Wheel carriage with your entree served first and in approximately three 45-minute intervals your plates will be cleared and remaining courses and beverages for the evening will be served. 

How long is the experience?

Approximately a 3 hour experience from check-in, with the Ferris Wheel Dining portion running for approximately 2 hour and 15 min.

What if I get cold?

There are blankets on the carriage for your comfort.

Can I drink tea or coffee on the Wheel?

For safety reasons, we are unable to serve hot beverages on the Ferris Wheel, however all guests are welcome to enjoy tea and coffee after the event in The Deck Bar lounge.

What if I would like to eat in the restaurant instead?

Please let the staff know and they can make arrangements for you with the restaurant manager.

What happens if it rains?

In the case of inclement weather or for safety reasons, where management deem it unsafe to proceed with the experience on the Ferris Wheel, the menu will be offered in an alternate, indoor venue.

What do I need to wear?

The dress code for Ferris Wheel Dining is smart casual. It is possible to wear high heels on the Ferris Wheel; you are not required to wear flat or enclosed shoes on this ride. However, if you do wish to stay at Luna Park and enjoy the rest of the rides after your experience, please note that there are enclosed footwear requirements for some rides.

What if I need to use the toilet facilities?

We ask that you please go to the bathroom before boarding.
